The following lists any changes made to the Psychic and Spiritual Handbook.

15 October, 2023

  • Tier 3 and 4 full manifester power points increased to better match warlock and full spellcasting models. This represents about 1 to 5 power points per short rest.
  • Metaform Paralytic Attack renamed Numbing Attack and has a new function that immobilizes its target (target is paralyzed if the save fails by 5 or more).
  • Transcendent Martial Focus feature no longer requires a melee weapon attack and scales at 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12)
  • Ghost Hunter Ghost Touch feature can now target any weapon
  • Transient Blade Greater Mind Blade feature bonus damage removed and free power points reduced in light of Martial Focus damage increase.
  • Sage feature (Duality Domain cleric) now grants wizard cantrips as an option instead of sorcerer cantrips as a way to future-proof in-development sorcerer spells. This expands the options present in the core books and the Psychic and Spiritual Handbook.
  • Opened up certain Psychic Archer powers to work with melee attacks as well.
  • Blast Back power updated to clarify that the movement reduction duration is based on the target’s turn in a way that the force diluting movement comes from the target.
  • Living Weapon 11th and 17th automatic scaling changed to grant Extra Attack and expanded crit range instead of increased critical damage.
  • Mind Tap automatic scaling now applies to repeated action.
  • Removed nerf discouraging Speed of Thought’s haste effect from being extended
  • Dire Ape reach corrected to 5 feet.
  • Dire Mantis now have camouflage trait to be more consistent with the Giant Mantis from Aronar’s Menagerie.
  • Fixed a number of instances where effects are considered psionic instead of magical. In these cases, the intent is that they operate as if a psionic power instead of a spell.

3 July, 2023

  • Dazing Strike (17th level feature for the Way of Insight monk) is only usable once during your turn.
  • The martial insight power’s 3 power point augmentation bonus damage has been reduced to 1d8.
  • The indices for Monsters/NPCs, Powers, and Spells should now properly link to the referenced page in the PDF document.
