Udoroot

Carnivorous and hidden, an udoroot is a monstrous plant that lurks beneath the soil, with only its sunflower-like stalks as a hint of its presence.

Psionic Plant. Udoroots use psionic powers to overcome prey. They leverage powers to confuse and distract targets and create astral constructs to fight for them.

Lurking Below. Covering around a 10-foot radius of the surface is the udoroot’s “crown.” A circle of six flowers with white petals and reddish seeds which the plant uses to detect creatures and manifest it powers. Destroying the crown will put the plant out of action. The bulk of an udoroot is its bulbous root system that lies below the surface. Unless its roots are destroyed, the plant will recover in time.
